Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Metrician website and Metrician Chrome extension. By using either, you agree to these Terms.

What Metrician provides

Metrician is a browser-local usage and allowance tracker. When you connect a provider, the extension reads allowance information from the provider page or session already available in your Chrome profile. It displays normalized readings, reset times, freshness, alerts, and local history.

Metrician does not provide access to provider accounts, create provider quotas, or change provider limits. No Metrician account is required, and the extension does not provide cloud sync or a hosted usage dashboard.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accounts and browser sessions that you connect, and for complying with the terms and policies of each provider you use. You must not use Metrician to:

• Access an account or provider session without authorization.
• Bypass, defeat, or interfere with a provider’s limits, security controls, or access rules.
• Disrupt the Metrician website, extension, provider websites, or other users’ access.
• Use the service in violation of applicable law or regulation.

Provider services and accuracy

ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, OpenCode, Ollama, and other provider services are separate products operated by their respective owners. Metrician is not affiliated with or endorsed by those providers unless explicitly stated.

Provider interfaces, sessions, limits, and allowance rules can change. A reading may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, or different from the provider’s current account page. Treat the provider’s own account interface and terms as authoritative before making an important decision.

Privacy

Metrician’s data practices are described in the Privacy policy. In short, provider readings and extension settings stay in your local Chrome profile; the extension does not upload provider allowances or raw provider responses to Metrician.

Website and extension use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Metrician for its intended purpose. Metrician, its name, design, software, and original content belong to BAMBAM LLC or its licensors. Provider names and marks belong to their respective owners.

You may not copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, or create a competing service from Metrician or its website content, except where applicable law gives you a right that cannot be limited by these Terms.

Availability and changes

Metrician is provided on an “as available” basis. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the website or extension, including to respond to provider changes, security issues, or maintenance needs. We may also update these Terms. The version published on this page applies from its stated update date; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BAMBAM LLC makes no warranty that Metrician will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or accurate for every provider account, browser, or device. You use Metrician at your own risk and should verify important allowance information with the relevant provider.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BAMBAM LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from or related to your use of Metrician. Nothing in these Terms limits a liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending use

You can stop using Metrician at any time by uninstalling the extension and stopping use of the website. You can disconnect providers or revoke permissions through Chrome. We may suspend access to the website or withdraw the extension if necessary to protect the service, users, or providers.
